Firefly Creek is a region in the Wallanbah district in Gloucester Shire in New South Wales. A small town called Firefly also exists in the area. References to Firefly Creek proliferate in the newspapers of 1870. In the early part of that decade a land offering was made in the area, GLOUCESTER 8 country lots, 1 of 50 and the others of 40 acres, on Firefly Creek.
