Barque of 381 tons. Built 1837 at Blackwall London for the Australia & China trade. Captain W.A. Howard left London 17 August 1841 and arrived at the Port of Stanley 19 December 1841. The new VDL Co. Manager, James Gibson and Rev. Thomas Grigg were on Board. Source: Duniam, Maureen: Indentured Servants of the Van Diemen's Land Company.
