A New Zealand "Warrior" in Tasmania

"Warrior" in Tasmania was two series of numbered articles, written by an ex-patriot Tasmanian sports racing correspondent, which were printed in The Otago Witness newspaper of New Zealand. These articles are primarily on the subject of thoroughbred horse breeding and racing, but also include vivid descriptions of some districts and life in general in Tasmania during 1888 and 1889. There is related information about Tasmanian places on the Locations page.
