This World War 1 forum will note the individuals mentioned on the website that served during the The Great War of 1914-1918.
The roll call is being created as part of the 2018 remembrance activities that were under-way for the centenary of that momentous and tragic event.
Some members may appear in more than one Honour Roll as descendants of their various ancestral families.
What candles may be held to speed them all ?
Not in the hands of boys but in their eyes
Shall shine the holy glimmers of goodbyes.
The pallor of girls' brows shall be their pall;
Their flowers the tenderness of patient minds,
And each slow dusk a drawing-down of blinds. 1
